Charms Office Assistant

The Charms Office Assistant is an online portal for storing all kinds of information. Parents and students will be able to access records of payments, download documents, and update student information. Information stored is secure and a student’s information can only be accessed by a password.

This will be a gradual roll-out of the system, with full functionality by the start of school in August. In the meantime, we would like everyone to access the site and update all student information. It is very important to have the correct Student ID number, birthdate, hame address, and parent email.

Instructions for current students: go to the Charms site. In the upper-right corner there is a green ENTER, click on this. Select the Parents/Students/Members in the pop-up. You will be asked to enter the school code. It is TravisHSBand and is case sensitive. You will then need to enter the student’s ID number. This password can be changed. However, if you forget the password we will have to reset it back to the Student ID number for you to log in. New Members: you will receive a password at registration and asked to update your information.

The next screen has numerous icons. Click on the orange Update Info icon on the lower left. This will get you to the area where you can update info. The fields that are updatable for the student will appear. Each parent will have a tab on the lower left of this screen. Please make sure that all parent contact info, especially email, is updated. After any update, be sure to click the green Update button on the upper right of the screen.

Some additional items that are also currently working are the Calendar and Event List. We have all of the dates for summer and fall on this calendar. When you click on the Event List you get a printable version of the calendar in a list format. Even better, you can set the calendar to sink to your smart phone!

Eventually, you will be able to track all of the forms that have been turned in or ones that are still due. You will also be able to check records for all financial transactions.

Charms will be a huge help to us in communicating information and distributing documents. As with anything new, there is a bit of a leaning curve so please be patient. If you have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to send them our way.
